Professor Treblemaker introduces us to a group of amazing young pianists to showcase the composer’s best, and gets the audience movin’ and groovin’ with other favorite composers like Tchaikovsky and more! Come and enjoy great music, featured young guest dancers, and hilarious hijinks...along with the greatest hits for piano-lovers, big and small. It’s going to rock!
Meet our Piano Soloists and Featured Composer…
Taiwan-born pianist Bo-Wei Andrew Huang studies at Juilliard Pre-College under Professor Yoheved Kaplinsky. An international prizewinner and concerto soloist, he performs with orchestras worldwide and actively shares his musical journey through concerts, festivals, and media platforms.
Philina Zhang is a pianist and composer from New York City. She studied piano at Special Music School with Irina Morozova and composition at the Juilliard School Precollege with Ira Taxin. She currently attends Columbia University and regularly performs in a versatile duo with her violinist sister Nickita Zhang, exploring classical chamber, swing jazz, and everything in between.
Taige Wang, 15, a Steinway Young Artist, a Lang Lang International Music Foundation Young Scholar, and a YoungArts Winner with Distinction 2026, studies piano at The Juilliard School with Veda Kaplinsky. His performances have taken him to prestigious venues such as the Great Wall, Carnegie Hall, the Nixon Presidential Library Museum, Lincoln Center, Severance Hall, the Royal Palace of Gödöllő, and the Polish Heart Club, the latter in the presence and sponsorship of the Duke of Kent. Taige is also an award-winning composer whose commissioned works premiered at Lincoln Center and America’s National Opera Center.
New York Theatre Ballet School!
We are thrilled to invite the New York Theatre Ballet School to join us once again! Talented dancers will join us with brand new choreography to Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony, and Borodin's Polovtsian Dances. You won't want to miss it!
NYTB School was founded in 1978 as the official training school of New York Theatre Ballet. Graded classes are offered at the pre-ballet through advanced levels. Teaching assistants guarantee highly individualized instruction. The school teaches dance as a total art form, developing strong technical skill and discipline. Following the Cecchetti syllabus, classes emphasize music, theatricality, gesture and style. For qualified students, the school’s unique relationship with NYTB provides performing experience throughout the year in ballets featuring roles for children.
