The Little Orchestra Society - Privacy Policy

The Little Orchestra Society (L.O.S.) strives to make it easy for donors to correct their personal information, or decide how or when it is shared with outside parties. To review your contact information, please refer to donation acknowledgments that are sent after making a donation (by email and hardcopy). Donor names and information are shared with outside parties to thank individuals for their contributions, and only in a limited number of ways, including: on concert programs, on our website, and in reporting to foundations, regulatory bodies, and government agencies (according to applicable laws)—donor information is never sold.

To correct personal information, you can update your name/address/phone number/email when making a new donation or purchasing a ticket/subscription, or please contact L.O.S. directly at tickets@littleorchestra.org or call 212-971-9500 ×0, Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm EST. If you wish to have your name removed from concert programs, our website, or to ask that your name not be shared on reports to regulatory bodies or government agencies, please also contact us directly (please note that certain IRS regulations require that L.O.S. report contact information for donations and purchases of a certain size).

L.O.S. respects the privacy of our web site visitors and does not collect any personal information. We do not attempt to track individuals in any manner and we do not link the web information to any other databases with the purpose of identifying individual website users. We do not track IP addresses or deposit any “cookies” in an attempt to gain information about website users. When visiting links to other sites, we encourage you to review the privacy policies and statements of each site you visit. Personal information provided by donors is kept in locked offices with backup information kept offsite, or on digitally secured platforms with multi-level authenticated access and advanced security measures. Once the date for records retention has passed, physical documents are shredded or destroyed, and digital records are deleted; payment method data is never retained, and is only used at the time of processing.
