LOS KIDS Mendelssohn

  Inspiring, Educating, and   Engaging

"These concerts are always wonderfully theatrical, visually stimulating, fast-paced, participatory, and just endlessly, wildly fun—all the things kids LOVE!

I hope you'll take this journey with us." - David Alan Miller, Artistic Advisor

L.O.S. at Little Island!

We are pleased to announce that on Saturday, July 10th and Sunday, July 11th at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, we will introduce children to the exciting world of percussion music with our kid-approved program Things That Go Bang, at the newly-opened Little Island. Professor Treblemaker and Conductor David Alan Miller will get Little Island’s tiniest audience members making music in their seats from objects found in their own homes. Performed by musicians from The New York Percussion Group, Things That Go Bang teaches all ages about sounds and rhythms through an interactive, orchestral concert performance featuring four percussionists and a pianist.
