Meet The Little Orchestra Societys Pianio Principal, Elizabeth DiFelice. Ms. DiFelice has concertized throughout North America, Europe and Japan in solo recitals and as a chamber musician. Her engagements include programs at the Cleveland Art Museum, Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C., Schoenberg Institute in Los Angeles, UC Davis, Smith College, Kilbourn Hall in Rochester, NY and the American Academy in Rome.

As an active ensemble musician in New York City, her extensive credits include performances with the New York Philharmonic (since 1979), American Composers Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Luke's, American Symphony Orchestra, New York New Music Ensemble, the Eos Orchestra and the Little Orchestra Society. She is a member of the Richardson Chamber Players and performs as guest artist with other ensembles such as the Sylvan Winds. She has appeared as soloist and chamber player at festivals including Tanglewood, Aspen, Bard, Ravinia, Lincoln Center Festival, Mostly Mozart and the Next Wave Festival.Ms. DiFelice'sgreatly varied musical adventures have included performing on the QEII ona cruise through the Panama Canal, playing with Metallica at Madison Square Garden, andworkingin The Lion King on Broadway. Her other interests include figure skating, sailing and travel.

Ms. DiFelice has recorded for CBS/Sony, DGG/Polydor, CRI, Nonesuch, Bridge, GM, Masters, New World, Telarc and BMG. She earned degrees from Oberlin College and SUNY at Stony Brook. She is coordinator of the piano department at Princeton University.
