I am pleased to announce that The Little Orchestra Society will launch its 60th exciting season of "captivating concerts." We hope that you will join us as we proudly present our unique brand of classical music for both the young and young at heart!
During the ordinarily lazy days of summer, the staff of The Little Orchestra Society has been extremely busy planning this new season for you and has joined me in revisiting and affirming the belief in our mission -
". . . to share the vitality of live classical music and build future audiences by presenting unusual, dynamic concerts. The Orchestra makes music more accessible and fun through interactive explorations, providing music in context, and thematic programming that educates and inspires."
We collectively agreed that the mission is as strong as ever but the marketplace and our lives have changed immensely since these words were first written! To truly maintain the vitality of the music, we as an organization must revitalize. We started with our website. At this newly enhanced site you can now order tickets 24 hours a day 7 days a week, get detailed descriptions on all of our concerts and special events, find educational materials and so much more. I hope that you like our new look and visit the site soon and often.
